Positioning Your Cable Box or DSS Receiver If your cable box or DSS receiver is remote controllable, place it on or near the VCR as shown in the example right. The VCR transmits an infrared signal from two locations. Be sure not to cover the transmitter windows. 7 One Time VCR Setup When VCR is turned on the first time. • Setup mode is entered automatically. • Self Demo Mode is started automatically on Multi Function Display.
