Reinstall the air intake grille. ©Align the top projections (4 places) with the depressions in the main unit, d) Press until the holding tabs lock. plug [ Note • As long as the power plug is inserted in an electrical outlet, the unit is energized and the air quality indicator bar will be illuminated. • In order to turn the unit completely off, it must be unplugged. • This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. 3.Set the “HEPA” and “Deodorize” filter reset switch • Using a small narrow tip object press both “HEPA” and “Deodorize” filter switches through the small openings that is to the right of the indicator lamps. • A beep will sound when each switch is pressed. • An internal electronic counter will now start keeping the time that both filters are in use in order to illuminate the red indicator lamps when it comes time to replace the filters, approx. 3 years for the “HEPA” filter and approx. 1 year for the “Deodorize” filter (time may vary depending on usage). O © © 2.Plug in the power Holding tabs To operate the unit Control panel section Power/Speed Operation Switch Power/Speed switch This switch is a six position switch. Each time this switch is pressed, the operation mode changes without stopping from Low to Med to Hi to Super, to automatic operation, to Monitor position.(On any operation mode other than Monitor position, the operation indicator lamp comes on to tell you which operation mode you've selected.) Speed Low Med o—o-t_ Hi o Super -O- Auto o (Monitor) (This display shows that the unit is in AUTO mode and the air speed is "Hi.") Auto Speed Low Med Hi Super ???? ? Speed lamp Auto lamp Filter Check / Reset HEPA Deodorize 0-0 0-0 ■ For Manual operation Manually select the air speed (Low, Med, Hi, or Super) as desired. Speed Low Med Hi Super I Auto ■ o 1. o o o o (Monitor) (Only the selected Speed lamp comes on.) ■ For Automatic operation In "Auto" mode, the unit will detect the condijion of the air passing through the micro dust sensor then automatically select the fan speed(Low, Med, Hi). (The AUTO lamp and the Air Speed lamp come on.) Speed Low Med Hi Super O O O O Auto o (Only the selected Speed lamp comes on.) (This display shows that the mode is in AUTO and the air speed is "Hi.") Note • When in the AUTO mode, the air speed setting "Super" is not used. Note Do not use in place of a fan or kitchen range hood. If you do, the filter life may be considerably diminished or the product may suffer damage. Care and maintenance A WARNING Before maintenance, be sure to unplug the power plug. Sudden unexpected operation of the product may cause injury or electric shock. Note Do not wipe with benzine or thinner. This may cause damage to the unit. 7 Care and maintenance Main unit (once a month or so Dampen a soft cloth with lukewarm water or diluted neutral kitchen detergent and wring it out. Wipe any stains off with the cloth and rub dry with another cloth. iHow to remove the air intake grille © Lay the main unit down on a table.
