A WARNING 1 Never attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the product. The product may catch fire or operate abnormally, resulting in injury. If repairs are needed, contact your dealer. 2.The product must be used with outlet and wiring accessories within their ratings, and must not be powered by a power supply other than 120 V AC. If the outlet and wiring ratings are exceeded, the heat generated may start a fire. 3.Do not immerse the product in water or splash water over it. A short circuit or electric shock may be caused. 4.Insert the power plug in as far as it will go. Incomplete insertion may cause a fire due to electric shock or heat generation. Do not use damaged plugs or heat generation. 5.Do not handle the power plug with a wet hand. An electric shock may be caused. 6.Do not damage the power cord or power plug. (Do not damage the power cord, modify it, bring it close to any thermal device, bend it by force, twist it, pull it, put a heavy object on it, or bundle it.) If the cord or plug needs to be repaired, contact your dealer. 7.Before maintenance, be sure to unplug the power plug. Sudden operation of the product may cause injury or electric shock. 8.When leaving the unit unattended for an extended period of time such as when going on vacation, leave the unit unplugged. A CAUTION 1 .Do not use in places exposed to high temperature or humidity, or wet areas, such as a bathroom. Electric leakage may occur, resulting in electric shock or a fire. 2.Do not use in greasy or oily environments such as the kitchen. Premature clogging of the filter unit will result. 3.Do not use near open flame or flamable materials. It may ignite and cause a fire. 4.Do not insert foreign objects such as pins or wires in the air intake grille, air outlet grille, or gaps. 5.Do not wipe with harsh chemicals such as benzine or thinner, or allow insecticide to come into contact with it. 6.When unplugging the power plug, grasp the power plug, not the power cord. Such handling may cause a short circuit or wire breakage, resulting in a fire or electric shock. 7 This unit is not designed for wall mounting, do not attempt to mount it on any wall, it should be placed on a firm surface. 3 Part! I Note ] The filter unit is packaged with a plastic sheet which must be removed before use. © Holding tabs Remove the air intake grille. ©Lay the main unit down on a table. (DWhile pressing the left and right holding tabs, lift up and out grille as illustrated. Remove the plastic sheet, and reinstall the filter unit onto the main unit. o Hold both ends of the filter set bottom, and lift it up to your side a little. o Install with the "Front" indicated on the side face of the filter frame at the top. (You will find a label to guide you.) Note Be sure to remove the plastic sheet as illustrated. Reinstall the air intake grille. ® Align the bottom projections (2 places) with the depressions (2 places) in the main unit.
