SAFETY INFORMATION When using your telephone equipment, please follow these basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or personal injury: 1. MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS CAUTION Electronic equipment can be damaged by static electrical discharge. Before handling equipment, wear an antistatic discharge wrist strap to prevent damage to electronic components. Place equipment in antistatic packing material when transporting or storing. Remove the two closure screws on the battery box and open the cover. 5. Use a long shaft screwdriver to tighten the three support screws. 6. Make the connections to your ADTRAN product. (Refer to the documentation provided with your ADTRAN system for detailed instructions on making the connections.) GROUNDING 18 AWG or larger ground wire is recommended to connect an additional ground conductor to “ground bus” in the customer equipment room. WARRANTY Warranty for Carrier Network products manufactured by ADTRAN and supplied under Buyer's order for use in the U.
