• The correct tilt for the child seat is parallel to theground. If necessary, use rolled-up towels underthe child seat to obtain the correct position. 33• Slip the vehicle seat belt through the two sideslots on the child seat, making sure that the beltremains taut. 34• Fasten the vehicle seat belt buckle, as shown inthe figure. 35• With the child car seat mounted in the vehicle, thehandle on the seat must be lowered all the wayagainst the back of the vehicle seat, as shownin the figure. Push the handle until it clicks intoplace. 36• Pass the vehicle seat belt around the backrest of the child seat. 37• Slip the seat belt through the slot on the back ofthe child seat, as shown in the figure. 38• Check to make sure that the seat belt is taut and securely fastened, for maximum safety. CLEANING & MAINTENANCE Your product requires only minimal maintenance. Cleaning and maintenance operations must beperformed only by adults. • Be sure to keep all moving parts clean, lubricatingthem with light oil if necessary. • Regularly clean the plastic parts with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or similar products. • Brush the fabric parts to remove dust. • Do not use solvents or similar products to clean thepolystyrene bumper. • Protect the product against smog, water, rain andsnow. Continued and extended exposure to sunlightcan change the colours of many materials. • Store the product in a dry area. SAFETY ATTENTION • IMPORTANT WARNING: IT IS FORBIDDEN TO MOUNT THE CHILD CAR SEAT ON A SEAT WITH AN AIR BAG SYSTEM INSTALLED. • THIS GROUP 0+ CHILD SAFETY CAR SEAT MUST ALWAYS BE INSTALLED FACING BACKWARDS IN RELATION TO THE DIRECTION THE CAR TRAVELS. • ALWAYS USE THE CHILD CAR SEAT SAFETY BELTS, AND CHECK TO MAKE SURE THAT THE CHILD DOES NOT UNLATCH THE BELT BY HIMSELF. • THIS RECLINED CRADLE IS NOT INTENDED FOR PROLONGED PERIODS OF SLEEPING. • TO AVOID DANGER OF THE CHILD'S FALLING OUT OF THE CAR SEAT, THE SAFETY BELT MUST ALWAYS BEUSED TO FASTEN THE CHILD IN THE SEAT. • WHEN ATTACHING THE BASE AND THE CHILD CAR SEAT, PASS THE THREE-POINT CAR SEAT BELTTHROUGH THE SPECIAL SLITS. • THIS CAR SEAT MAY BE MOUNTED ON THE CAR USING ONLY THREE-POINT SAFETY BELTS.
