C D Setting the AV Output Mode Each time you touch [ AV-OUT ], the mode switches as follows: " DVD " Picture/sound from DVD/VCD/CD. " TV " Picture/sound from television. " AV-IN1 " Picture/sound from AV-IN1 terminals. " AV-IN2 " Picture/sound from AV-IN2 terminals. Setting the Dual Zone mode The following operation allows separate sound sources to control the output of the front and rear speakers. Each time you touch [ 2zone ], the mode switches as follows: " ON " The dual zone system function is on. " OFF " The dual zone system function is off. Rear speaker: Sound of AV-OUT Front speaker: Sound of current source E You can select whether to output AV-OUT sound from the rear or from the front. NOTE Don’t turn the Dual Zone system ON if discs are played that were recorded by DTS. If it is set ON, the disc’s sound won’t be output. Adjusting the Dual Zone Speaker Level Touch [ 3 ] to increase the volume. Touch [ 2 ] to decrease the volume. NOTE No display [2zone VOL] when the “2zone” is set to "OFF. Selecting the Dual Zone Speaker You can select whether to output AV-OUT sound from the rear or from the front. Each time you touch [ 2zone SP ], the mode switches as follows: " Normal " AV-OUT sound send to the rear speaker. " Reverse " AV-OUT sound send to the front speaker. NOTE No display [2zone SP] when the “2zone” is set to "OFF. Setting the Touch Sensor Tone Each time you touch [ Beep ], the mode switches as follows: " ON " Touch sensor tone is turned on " OFF " Touch sensor tone is turned off Setting the TV Control by Remote On/Off If this unit also runs when operating other units with different Kenwood remote controls, its remote control function can be turned off. Switching between manual scrolling and automatic scrolling is permitted. Each time you touch [ Scroll ], the mode switches as follows: " Auto " Automatic scrolling " Manual " Manual scrolling Setting the On Screen Display Function Each time you touch [ On Screen ], the mode switches as follows: " Auto " When a button on the main unit or remote control unit is pressed, or the disc track is changed, the information is temporarily superimposed on the picture. " Manual " When the lower center of the screen is touched whilst a TV/video picture is displayed, the information is temporarily superimposed on the picture. Setting tthe Information on the Graphic Screen You can set whether or not to display the information on the graphic screen. Each time you touch [ Drive Info ], the mode switches as follows: " ON " Information function is on " OFF " Information function is off K L M Demonstration Function Each time you touch [ DEMO ], the mode switches as follows: " ON " The graphic screen’s background mode switches repeatedly. " OFF " the demonstration function is off. Selecting the Point Marker Type Each time you touch [ Marker ], the mode switches as follows: " Type 1 " " Type 2 " " OFF " No display the point marker.
