Maximum speed / delivery capacity setup: • With the dispensing station in ready state, push OK button three times - display indicates Range Max.. For recommended values see Section 8.4. 3.7.4 Operating mode Two operating modes are available: Continuous mode or Timed mode Continuous mode: Dispensing station delivers product as long as meter-mix dispense gun is actuated. Timed mode: Dispensing station delivers product during a pre-set time span after the meter-mix dispense gun has been actuated. (for dispense time setup see next menu). Operation Only adept maintenance staff must be permitted to perform the setup operations described in Section 3.8! 3.8 Service menu setup Only qualified personnel properly authorised by the provider/operator of the equipment must be permitted to perform setup operations on the Service Menu of the dispensing station - see Section 2.4! Use the Service Menu for setup of parameters required for operation and standard settings for the dispensing station. Operation 3.8.1 Enter password The service menu is protected by password 3425. Open service menu, enter password • With the dispensing station in ready state, push * button twice - display indicates Enter password. PASSWORD: • Enter password 3425 within 40 seconds using the arrow keys, then push OK button - display 0000 ESCOK indicates Enter password The password is entered right aligned. If the current position is shifted, the existing numerical value is cleared and replaced by the * . Arrow key assignment: Left Shift current position to the left. Right Shift current position to the right. Up Increase input value by 1 Down Decrease input value by 1. Connections to the two pump motors are not monitored via the service menu. 3.8.2 Retract time To prevent post-dispense dripping, product is sucked back into the meter-mix dispense gun. Simultaneously, reversing the direction of pump rotation reduces delivery pressure in the pressure lines. Retract time setup: • With the dispensing station in ready state, push * button twice - display indicates Enter password. • Enter password, see Section 3.8.1. Suck Back Time • Use arrow keys to enter desired value. 0.3 sec. Arrow key assignment / setting range: left: -1.0; right: +1.0; up: +0.1; OK/ESC down: -0.1; setting range 0.0 – 1.0 • Push OK button to save the setting – display indicates "next menu item". Push ESC key to leave the service menu – display indicates Operation. The 0.3 value is a factory-recommended setting. Operation 3.8.3 Automatic mixer flush cycle (optional) If the optional dispense gun docking station is used, an automatic mixer flush cycle can be actuated to prevent any undesired reaction of product components during idle periods. The electronic pump controller is equipped with a sensor which detects the presence of the dispense gun in the docking station and actuates the automatic mixer flush cycle after a preset time delay.
