The following applies for the simultaneous cooking of foods with different cooking times: – Cut the food with the longer cooking time into smaller pieces –Or extend the cooking time of sensitive foods by leaving it in larger pieces. . In general. 500 ml water. Exception: Expanding foods (e.g. potatoes) and ingredients with longer cooking times require 750 ml water. 11 Cooking Removing the Steam Cooker from the Oven: 1. Slowly open the oven door. Hot steam escapes when you open the door. 2. Remove the steam cooker from the oven Use suitable oven gloves. 3. Put down the steam cooker. Do not place it on the oven door. 4. Remove the glass lid. Lift at the back so that the hot steam can escape in that direction. Do not lift at the front. There is the risk that the hot steam may scald you. After steam cooking: . Allow the oven to cool down. . Wipe down the oven with clear water. .
