Allow engine to cootbefore storingin any enclosure. • Do not change engine governor settings. • Do not operate engine if air cleaner or cover is removed, except for adjustment.Removalofthese pa,_scouldcreate a fire hazard. • Keep hands, feet, face, long hair and clothingout of chipper inlet, vac inlet and discharge area. There are ROTATING BLADES inside these openings. • Beforecleaning,repairingorinspecting,make certainall moving parts come to a complete stop. Disconnect spark ptugwire and keep wire away from plug to prevent accidental starting. Keep throttlecontrol lever in stopposition. • If the Chipper Vac should become blocked with debris at any point,shutengine off and wait untilthe impetlercomes to a completestopbeforeattemptingto remove the obstruction.Disconnectspark plugwire to prevent accidental starting. • If the cuttingmechanismstrikesaforeignobject,orifyour ChipperMac shouldstarttovibrate abnormally,stopthe engine immediately, disconnectthe spark plug wire and move the wire away from the spark plug. Allow the machine to stop and take the followingsteps. a. Inspect for damage. b. Repair or replace any damaged parts. c. Check for loose parts and tighten to assure continued safe operation.
