In the USA: The appliance may be installed at higher altitudes. Please refer to your American Gas Association guidelines which state: the sea level rated input of Gas Designed Appliances installed at elevations above 2000 feet (610 m) is to be reduced 4% for each 1000 feet (305 m) above sea level. Refer also to local authorities or codes which have jurisdiction in your area regarding the de-rate guidelines. Confirm this and also check that the label on the right side panel door states “Vented Room Heater”. WARNING: This appliance has been designed to operate by drawing combustion air and dilution air from the room. The draft hood located in the same atmospheric pressure zone as the combustion air inlet to the appliance. It is also designed to draw room air for proper heat circulation from the rear of the unit.
