SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS POLARIZED PLUG This appliance has a polarized plug — one blade is wider than the other. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse it. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature by modifying the plug in any way. ELECTRICAL CORD The cord length of this knife was selected to reduce safety hazards that may occur with a longer cord. If more cord length is needed, an extension cord with a polarized plug may be used. It should be rated not less than 10 amperes, 120 Volts, and have Underwriters Laboratories listing. Handle cord carefully for longer life; avoid jerking or straining it at outlet and appliance connections. 1 9” Slicing/Carving Blade 2 Cutting Guide 3 Grease Guards 4 Handle 5 Operating Bar 6 Safety Lock Button 7 Blade Release Buttons 8 Tab 9 6” Paring Blade 10 Fork Slice-Right Electric Knife 1 4 5 2 3 7689 10 Slice-Right Electric Knife 1 4 5 2 3 7689 10 How To Use Rivet Keyhole Slot "Lock" "Unlock" A B IMPORTANT: Unplug and be sure the Safety Button is in the “Lock” position before inserting or removing Blades. Plug the cord into a standard electrical outlet. Position the food to be sliced on a cutting board. 3. Release the Safety Lock by pushing the Button to the opposite side of the Operating Bar marked “Unlock.” (Inset A) Press the Bar and guide the Knife Blades downward through the food. CAUTION: NEVER place your hand over the blade to support it while operating this knife. The Blades slide back and forth for cutting. 4.
