Empty the bowl before the juice reaches the filter basket. Max. quantity: 1000 g Juice centrifuge (6f) Figure H For squeezing the juice out of seeded fruit with (e.g. apples and pears), currants and berries, fruit with stones already removed, vegetables (e.g. carrots or tomatoes). • Attach bowl and rotate as far as possible in a clockwise direction. • Insert disc holder with filter basket. • Attach lid for juice centrifuge and rotate in a clockwise direction. Lid lug must be located fully in the slot in the base unit. • Set rotary knob to setting 3. • Add fruit or vegetables through the fill tube and only gently push forward with the pusher. Cut beforehand if necessary. • After processing, set the rotary knob to setting 4 for a short time and let the appliance run until the fruit pulp is totally squeezed out. Warning! Empty the bowl without delay: - a fter processing 500 g, - before juice has reached the disc holder. Mashing attachment (6g) Figure I for mashing soft/cooked fruit or vegetables. • Attach bowl and rotate as far as possible in a clockwise direction. • Attach mashing sieve with mashing flanks. • Attach the cover and as far as possible in a clockwise direction. • Set the rotary knob to setting 4 (see additional booklet “recipes and tips”). • Remove the pusher and add ingredients through the feed tube. Max. quantity: 1000 g 1O Robert Bosch Hausgeräte GmbH en After using the appliance • Set the rotary switch to 0/off. • Pull out the mains plug. • Rotate the lid in an anti-clockwise direction and remove. • Remove tool: - Remove tool holder together with the multi function blade out of the bowl. Remove the multifunction blade from the tool holder. After cleaning the multi function blade, affix the blade protectors. - Take kneading hook and/or stirrer out of the bowl. - Take mashing attachment and/or juice centrifuge out of the bowl. - Lift the tool holder on the recesses from the bowl. Take out discs. • Rotate the bowl in an anti-clockwise direction and remove. • Clean all parts, see “Cleaning and servicing”. Blender Figure J A Risk of injury from sharp blades/ rotating drive! Never place fingers in the attached blender! Blender will not operate until the lid has been screwed on tight. Do not remove/ attach the blender until the drive is at a standstill. A Risk of scalding! If processing hot liquids, steam escapes through the funnel in the lid. Add a max. 0.5 litres of hot or frothing liquid. Warning! Blender may be damaged. Do not process deep-frozen ingredients (except ice cubes). Do not operate when empty. Blending Warning! To operate the blender, the blender lid and bowl must be attached and screwed on tight with the lid. Take the tools out of the bowl! • Open blender drive cover. In addition, press the button in the middle of the lid and let it go. • Attach the blender jug (match arrow on the jug to the arrow on the appliance) and rotate as far as possible in a clockwise direction. • Add ingredients. Maximum capacity - liquid = 1.5 litres (frothing or hot liquids max. 0.5 litres). Optimum processing quantity of solid ingredients = 125 g. • Attach lid and rotate in a clockwise direction. Lid lug must be located fully in the slot in the blender handle. • Set the rotary switch to the desired setting. • To add more ingredients, set the rotary switch to 0/off. • Remove the lid and add ingredients or • remove the funnel and gradually add solid ingredients through the feed tube or • pour liquid through the funnel. After blending • Set the rotary switch to 0/off. • Rotate the blender in an anti-clockwise direction and remove. • Rotate the lid in an anti-clockwise direction and remove. Tip: It is recommended to clean the blender after use see “Cleaning and servicing”. Cleaning and servicing A Risk of electric shock! Never immerse the base unit in water or place under running water. Warning! Surfaces may be damaged. Do NOT use abrasive cleaning agents. Cleaning the base unit • Pull out the mains plug. • Wipe the base unit with a damp cloth. If required, use a little detergent. Then dry the base unit. Cleaning the bowl and accessories All parts are dishwasher-safe. Do not wedge plastic parts in the dishwasher as they could warp. Robert Bosch Hausgeräte GmbH 11 en The plastic parts may become discoloured, for example if processing carrots and red cabbage, and can be removed with a few drops of cooking oil. The stirrer can be taken apart for cleaning. For this, pull the stirrer from the holder and remove lid (Figure K). Put back together after cleaning. Cleaning the blender A Risk of injury from sharp blades! Do not touch blender blades with bare hands. Clean them with a brush. It is recommended to clean the blender immediately after use.
