CL Editor Installation Guide CL Editor The CL Editor enables you to prepare the CL mixing console (CL5, CL3, and CL1: subsequently called CL) settings beforehand by editing the parameters offline, and also remotely monitor/control the CL online. CL Editor Installation Guide Software installation Minimum System Requirements The system requirements below may differ slightly depending on the particular operating system. OS Windows 7 : Ultimate/Professional/Home Premium Mac OS X : 10.6.x/10.7.x Hard Disk 100MB or more Display 1024 x 768 pixels or higher (recommend 1440 x 900 pixels or higher); High Color (16-bit) or higher Other Pointing device such as a mouse, Ethernet (100BASE-TX/10BASE-T) port Windows 7 CPU 32bit: 2GHz or higher Intel Core/Pentium/Celeron family processor 64bit: Intel 64 compatible processor (however the software program runs at 32bit) Available Memory 1GB or more (2GB or more on 64-bit Version) Mac OS X CPU Intel Core family processor Available Memory 1GB or more (2GB or more on 10.7.x) NOTE The Minimum System Requirements described above are applied to the CL Editor version 1.0.0. Installing software To use CL Editor, you’ll not need to install the other software program besides CL Editor. Follow the appropriate instructions below. CL Editor Installation Follow the instructions below to install the software programs. 1 Double-click “setup.exe” (Windows) or “Install CL Editor.pkg” (Mac) in the compressed file (you have downloaded). A setup dialog of CL Editor is displayed. NOTE When using Windows, if the “User Account Control” window appears, click [Continue] or [Yes]. 2 Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software. NOTE For specific instructions on using the software, refer to the PDF manual from the [HELP] menu in program. CL Editor Installation Guide CL Editor Installation Guide 5 The following diagram shows how to connect the computer to the CL through a dedicated network. NOTE You cannot simultaneously control one CL unit from two computers running CL Editor. However, you can control the CL unit using CL Editor on a computer along with the CL StageMix application installed on an iPad (or iPad2) that is connected via WiFi. IP address 192.168.0.100 Subnet mask 255.255.255.0 Default gateway (Router) 192.168.0.1 When you connect the computer to the CL in the existing network Make the network settings of the CL and your computer in accordance with your LAN. For specific instructions and caution for connecting the CL to LAN, please refer to the following web site: • Settings of the CL IP address Set the IP address so that it does not conflict with the IP address of any other device on the network. Gateway address Set the IP address of the gateway when the gateway exists. Set the vacant address when the gateway does not exist. The address should be set in the same subnet as IP address within LAN in which the subnet is set. Subnet mask Set the subnet mask of the subnet connected to the CL.
