In this version of the iexgbe driver, FlexNICs are implemented; however, the bandwidth

Severity: High
Version 11.31.0911 of the iexgbe driver does not support link state status when connected
to the HP BL-c VC Flex-10 Enet Module Opt (455880-B21). The link state of the uplink does
not propagate to the appropriate FlexNIC. Even if the uplink is in the “link down” state, the
FlexNIC driver reports a “link up” state as long as the connection to the interconnect module
is active. This functionality is required for Service Guard and LAN Monitor support.
Uplink status propagation will be supported in a future release of the 10GigEthr-02 bundle.

This release is specific for HP-UX 11i v3 (B.11.31).
5.2 Hardware Requirements
This version of 10GigEthr-02 runs on HP Integrity BL860c (rev B) and BL870c server blades with
the HP-UX 11i v3 (B.11.31) operating system. This configuration has specific version requirements
for many system components. Table 1 summarizes these requirements:
