SETTING E-MAIL FUNCTIONS Setting the Scan to E-mail Message Properties You can configure the message properties of E-mail documents that will be sent by Scan to E-mail operation. The [E-MAIL] button in the [ADMIN] menu will be available only when the Scanner Kit is installed, or when the Printer/Scanner Kit is installed. 1 Press the [E-MAIL] button. 4 • The E-MAIL screen is displayed. This can reduce the transmission errors caused by the network traffic problems. The [E-MAIL] button in the [ADMIN] menu will be available only when the Scanner Kit is installed, or when the Printer/Scanner Kit is installed. 1 Press the [E-MAIL] button in the ADMIN menu. 4 • The E-MAIL screen is displayed. SETTING SECURITY FUNCTIONS You can configure the default values for the encryption setting which are applied when data scanned on this equipment is generated as a secure PDF file. You can also configure whether or not you use the “forced encryption” mode.
