A Contents of the Insight Dynamics infrastructure
orchestration readme file
The information in this appendix applies to only Insight Dynamics customers; it provides the
manual procedure that is required to complete the update of Insight Dynamics infrastructure
orchestration to 6.2 U2 SP1.
These instructions are also provided in a readme.txt file that is located in the io/File/
directory in the 6.2 U2 SP1 ISO file.
If you have upgraded your Insight Dynamics infrastructure orchestration with previously-released
updates and have already performed the steps described here, you do not need to do so again.
NOTE:
If you are unsure if you performed these manual upgrade steps for a previous update
release, running the procedures again overwrites the existing files with the same files and has
no effect on your environment.
If you are running HP Server Automation version 7.x, do not perform these steps. To determine
which version of HP Server Automation you are running, sign in to the HP Server Automation
Client and do the following:

Look at the bottom of the load screen for the version number
•
Inside the client, select Help→About
Insight Dynamics infrastructure orchestration 6.2 U2 SP1 readme file
This update release includes:
-- PowerShell Script operation and Database folder
-- Updates to existing Extensible Server & Storage Adapter (ESA) workflows
-- Plugin update for HP Server Automation (SA) 9.0
-- Additional fixes and improvements
Perform the steps in this Readme file only if:
-- You want to use PowerShell scripts, ESA workflows, and/or SA 9.x, and
-- You are upgrading your ID IO installation from 6.2 to 6.2 U2 SP1, or you are upgrading
your ID IO installation from 6.2 Update 1/6.2 Update 2 to 6.2 U2 SP1 and you did not perform
the steps in the 6.2 Update 1/6.2 Update 2 Readme files
Add "PowerShell Script" command and Database Folder to embedded OO
------------------------------------------------------------------
1 - On an HP CMS, unzip the OOContent.zip file under the " [IO_install_path]\update\6.2.3\OOContent" directory.
A folder named PowerShellAndDatabase is created under the " [IO_install_path]\update\6.2.3\OOContent"
directory.
2 - Import the PowerShell repository and Database folder
a. On an HP CMS in OO Studio, select Repository –> Import Repository…
b. In Select Repository Directory or .jar, navigate to " [IO_install_path]\update\6.2.3\OOContent"
directory and select PowerShellAndDatabase
c. Click Open
d. In Importing from 'C:\tmp\Insight Orchestration' to 'https://localhost:16443' dialog:
i. Expand Library\Operations\PowerShell
ii. Select PowerShell Script row
iii. At the top of the dialog, click the "Add in Repository" button (Green Arrow)
iv. Check if the Description column shows "Add in Repository" for the PowerShell Script row
v. Expand Library\Operations
vi. Select Database folder row
vii. At the top of the dialog, click the "Add in Repository" button (Green Arrow)
viii. Check if the Description column shows "Add in Repository" for the Database folder row
e. In the button bar of Importing from 'C:\tmp\Insight Orchestration' to 'https://localhost:16443'
dialog, click the right-most button (Apply)
f. In Import, click OK
3 - Check in operation
a. In the left side of OO Studio, in the My Changes/Checkout frame, right click over
PowerShell Script (modified) entry and select Check In
b. Click OK
c. In the left side of OO Studio, in My Changes/Checkout frame, right click over the Database
(modified) entry and select Check In Tree
b. Click OK
