It provides dedicated enhanced outdoor and in-building coverage and capacity, and enables differentiated services in locations where increased coverage and capacity are needed. The MMX Pico Base Station is WiMAX Forum Wave2 (MIMO) certified and is currently the smallest base station on the market. The unit is light weight and can be installed by one person on poles, street lamps or walls. The MMX 6000 can also be used to feed ADC’s InterReach® Fusion WiMAX in-building Distributed Antenna System (DAS). The FlexWave MMX 6000 provides all the functionality necessary to communicate with fixed and mobile subscriber units according to the service criteria and customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs). It includes various network interfaces for flexible integration into the wireless operator’s network backbone. The end-to-end Quality of Service (QoS) ensures that the same high quality WiMAX experience is delivered to customers outside or inside his/her home or small office.
