When you raise the GROUP MASTER control (which corresponds to the channel INPUT fader or the track for ping-pong recording) higher than the standard level (usually "8" on the fader scale or higher; however, it depends on the equalizer setting), oscillation will occur. (The level meter will peak for the oscillating channel signal.) If you do not correct this situation and you continue to monitor the signal through the headphones or monitor speakers, unexpected oscillation noise will be output, c
2. Mix the signals recorded on tracks 1 through 6 and record the mixed signal onto tracks 7 and 8. Then tracks 1 through 6 can be used to record other materials. Channel grouping By setting the group assign switch (1-2 or 3- 4) of a channel to ON, the channel signal is sent to group busses 1 and 2 or 3 and 4. A group buss signal is output from the [GROUP OUT] jacks. When the [ASSIGN TO STEREO OUT] switch above the group fader is set to ON, the group buss signal is output to the corresponding stereo buss.
