Af ter read ing, be sure to keep it where it can be seen by all those who use the prod uct. Precautions for Use • Do not connect the product to any device not spe cifi cal ly referred to in this manual. Please note that the EH-61 can not be used with devices that use the EH-60 AC adapter (available separately). • Remove the power cable from the power outlet when not in use. • Do not short the DC plug. • Do not apply excessive force to the DC plug or cable while the AC adapter and camera are con nect ed. Failure to ob serve this precaution may re sult in mal func tion. Connecting the AC Adapter Before connecting the AC adapt er, be sure the camera is off. Follow these steps to connect the adapter (Figure 2; illustration shows COOLPIX 3100): 1 Plug the AC adapter plug into the AC adapt er (Figure 2-a). 2 Open the door which cov ers the DC IN connector and in sert the DC plug into the DC IN con nec tor (Figure 2-b). When using the COOL-STATION MV-10, insert the DC plug directly into the DC IN connector. 3 Plug the wall plug into a pow er out let. The POWER lamp will glow showing the EH-61 is plugged in.
