The mounting block can be held in place to mark the placement of the screw holes or you can use the mounting template provided. A beep indicates the initiation of the Self-Test sequence. Self-Test will check battery capacity and perform five functional test sequences as described in the digital display Appendix. The last green LED and the message SELF-TEST PASS on the display indicate a successful test. If any of the individual tests fail during Self-Test, there will be two beeps and a red LED flash, with the name of the test that failed and an “X” on the display.
