Using the Administrative Utility
Gateway Queue List Screen
If the message “No Entry Manager available for gateway-object- name” appears below
the list of PDUs, you may need to verify that the appropriate entry manager process is
running. For information about entry manager operation, see the Compaq’s OSI/MHS
configuration and management manual.
In addition to displaying a list of PDUs on the gateway queue, options on this screen
allow you to remove all PDUs on the gateway queue list, provided you are authorized by
the AU master user:
To remove the PDUs shown on the gateway queue list from the queue, click on the
“Remove PDUs” button at the bottom of the screen. An information screen then is
displayed listing the PDUs that are queued for removal. The following information is
supplied for each PDU shown on the information screen:
PDU-ID
The PDU ID in component form.
NEXT-ACTION
The date and time the PDU will next be acted on.

generated due to other error conditions inside the MTA other
than those covered by the above.
The remove request sent to the MTA is only a request. If successful, the MTA internally
queues the work to be performed; when it can, the MTA processes the removal of the
PDU. If the remove request is declined, the PDU ID continues to appear in lists
generated by subsequent “List PDUs” actions. At no time does the AU remove a PDU
